Volunteering at the DuPont Environmental Education Center
Operated by the Delaware Nature Society
Volunteers have played a key role in every stage of the development of the Delaware Nature Society and they continue to direct its work and contribute to the realization of its highest goals. We count our volunteers among our most valuable and respected assets–in all, annually more than 1,000 committed individuals who give of their valuable time, their special skills, and their personal interests to benefit the Nature Society. Our environmental programs and accomplishments since the Nature Society’s inception have been possible only through their help, and the value of these services is reflected in our ability to conduct programs which receive no direct support. As our newest site, the DuPont Environmental Education Center is also dependant on the assistance of volunteers. There are a variety of tasks for which volunteer help is needed.
